
The MRI specialization focuses on the complex physics and clinical applications of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The course provides advanced training in pulse sequences, functional MRI (fMRI), MR Spectroscopy, Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI), etc. as prescribed by National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Profession (NCAHP). Students learn to manage MR safety, handle sophisticated software for image post-processing, and perform specialized scans for neuro, cardiac, and musculoskeletal conditions. Students also develop critical thinking, and research skills through the mandatory dissertation.
4 semesters/ 2 years including 6 months Dissertation
Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (BMRIT)/ Bachelor of Medical Radiodiagnosis and Imaging Technology (BMRIT)/ B.Sc. Radiological Technology/ B.Sc. Radiography / B.Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology / or any other Equivalent course with BMRIT.
