About the Course

This unique specialization is dedicated to the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. The curriculum covers Digital Mammography, Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT), Breast Ultrasound, and Breast MRI as prescribed by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Profession (NCAHP). Students are trained in interventional techniques such as stereotactic biopsies and wire localizations, ensuring they can provide comprehensive care in women's health and oncology settings. Students also develop critical thinking, and research skills through the mandatory dissertation.

4 semesters/ 2 years including 6 months Dissertation

Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (BMRIT)/ Bachelor of Medical Radiodiagnosis and Imaging Technology (BMRIT)/ B.Sc. Radiological Technology/ B.Sc. Radiography / B.Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology / or any other Equivalent course with BMRIT.

Admission on the basis of entrance exams organized by the University.
