
This specialization is designed to provide advanced expertise in the chemical processes and substances that occur within living organisms. The curriculum covers Clinical Biochemistry, Enzymology, Endocrinology, Toxicology as well as Research Methodology and Biostatistics as prescribed by the National Commission NCAHP. Students receive in-depth practical training on automated analyzers, molecular diagnostics, and quality control systems, preparing them to interpret complex biochemical data essential for diagnosing metabolic disorders, hormonal imbalances, and organ function. Students also develop critical thinking, and research skills through the mandatory dessertation thesis.

Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or an equivalent degree on regular mode from recognised university. Admission on the basis of entrance exams organized by the University.
