
This specialization focuses on the microscopic examination of tissue and cells to diagnose diseases, particularly cancer. The course covers Diagnostic Histopathology, Cytological Techniques, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), FNAC, and Molecular Pathology as prescribed by the National Commission, NCAHP. Students learn advanced tissue processing, digital pathology, and cancer epidemiology, equipping them to assist pathologists in accurate cancer staging and diagnosis. Students also develop critical thinking, and research skills through the mandatory dessertation thesis.

Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or an equivalent degree on regular mode from recognised university. Admission on the basis of entrance exams organized by the University.
