About the Course

This specialized program provides advanced knowledge in blood disorders and transfusion science. The curriculum covers Immunohematology, Molecular Hematology, Coagulation studies, and Blood Component preparation as prescribed by the National Commission NCAHP. Students achieve better understanding of advanced techniques like Flow Cytometry, HLA typing, and blood banking, preparing them for critical roles in blood banks and oncology centres. Students also develop critical thinking, and research skills through the mandatory dessertation thesis.

4 semesters/ 2 years including 6 months Dissertation

Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or an equivalent degree on regular mode from recognised university. Admission on the basis of entrance exams organized by the University.
