Radiation Therapy Technology

The Department of Radiation Therapy Technology is a Centre for advanced oncology care. It focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer through Atomic Energy Radiation Board (AERB) Approved advanced radiation therapy techniques. The department trains students to become skilled radiotherapy technologists proficient in treatment planning, radiation delivery, patient positioning, and radiation safety protocols. Clinical exposure is provided at the Manibhai Shivabhai Patel Cancer Centre, enabling students to integrate technical accuracy with compassionate patient care while adhering to established quality assurance standards in oncology services. Our expert faculty with advanced clinical and academic expertise addresses various aspects of teaching learning strategies like;
